2014 Treks!!

Wyoming Wind River Range Backpacking Trek (July 13th-19th). The 90-mile long Wind River Mountain range forms the Continental Divide of the Rocky Mountains in western Wyoming. The Winds are known for their sleek, granite domes, craggy 13,000-foot peaks, abundant alpine lakes, vast plateaus, and for having the highest concentration of glaciers in the American Rocky Mountains. This area will provide ample opportunity for participants to hike in pristine forests and terrain, take a refreshing dip in alpine lakes, and help replenish your spirits through training in mindfulness meditation. Cabinet Mountains Wilderness Northwest Montana Backpacking Trek (August 10th-16th). This trek in the back country of Northwest Montana will provide ample opportunity for participants to hike in pristine forests and terrain, take a refreshing dip in alpine lakes, and help replenish your spirits through training in mindfulness meditation. Lewis & Clark Canoe Expedition in NW Montana for Survivors and Caregivers** (Sept 14th-20th). On this trek we will explore this majestic waterway following in the footsteps of the 1805 expedition of Lewis and Clark. Along with other survivors and caregivers, you'll learn to meditate as you take in the rich and interesting history of this unique and beautiful area. Wildlife abounds throughout where elk, mule and white-tailed deer, big horn sheep, coyotes, and pronghorn antelopes can be seen. For more information, check out this brochure. Green River Utah Canoeing Trek (October 5th - 11th). Join us on our Green River canoe trek and discover the stunning scenery of Utah’s red rock formations and majestic canyons around every bend. As you learn the practice of mindfulness meditation with your fellow participants, you'll have the opportunity to paddle the calm waters of the Green River meandering through the Stillwater Canyon. We will travel through the ancient times and history of the landscape as we view the ruins and rock art sites of the Pueblo Indians. For more information, check out this brochure.
