See Yourself.
Be Yourself.
Free Yourself.
When you can see yourself, you can be yourself.
And when you can be yourself, you can free yourself.
When you can free yourself, the possibilities are limitless to becoming the fullest, most authentic, whole version of yourself imaginable. At TNT, this kind of liberation is our vision of what health and well-being looks like.
Our See-Be-Free Initiative is our commitment to manifesting and self-investing in achieving greater representation of traditionally underrepresented groups in our programs and culture so our participants can see-be-free themselves in everything we do. We know this can take time and energy, and we are committed to engaging in this work to improve access, inclusion, and representation to nature, age-appropriate peer support, and mindful self-awareness and all of their known health benefits.

What Does This Look Like?
Our See-Be-Free Initiative is a growth-oriented, iterative, group-based organizational undertaking that will show up in several ways, big, small, and everywhere in between.
Right now, it includes:
1. Major fundraising efforts to make the TNT WALDEN Institute as friendly and accessible as possible for survivors living with disabilities.
2. Releasing an emotionally-captivating biopic short film we created of TNT alumni JulieAnn Villa to highlight her "life at the intersection" of being an endurance athlete, MIT graduate, educator, Latina, 3-time cancer survivor, and person living with a disability.
3. Identifying and training new wilderness guides of color.
4. Offering for the first time, an all-Latine trek in the back-country.
This is just the beginning. We welcome and value your input, perspective, and active participation in this process!
